This Refund Policy describes the circumstances under which Clipperia will issue refunds for Subscriptions, Credit Pack purchases, and processing Credits. This policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service.
All refunds are issued as credits to your Clipperia account unless otherwise stated or required by applicable law. Monetary refunds, where applicable, are processed through Dodo Payments as the merchant of record.
General principle: Credits that have been consumed by a completed or partially completed processing job are generally non-refundable because third-party compute resources have been expended. Exceptions are described below.
Credits are consumed when you submit a video for processing. The following rules apply:
Automatic credit refunds for early failures are processed by the system and should appear in your account immediately.
Subscription payments (Starter, Pro) may be refunded under the following conditions:
If both conditions are met, we will refund the subscription payment and your subscription will be downgraded to the Free tier at the end of the current billing period.
Subscription refunds are not available if:
If your subscription auto-renews and you did not intend to renew, you may request a refund of the renewal charge within 14 days of the renewal date, provided fewer than 30 credits from the new billing cycle have been used.
Credit Pack purchases (e.g., 100-credit or 500-credit packs) are refundable only if none of the credits in the pack have been used. Once any credit from a pack has been consumed, no refund is available for that pack.
Credit Pack refund requests must be made within 14 days of purchase.
Consumed Credit Pack Credits are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
Storage add-on subscriptions follow the same 14-day refund window as other subscriptions. If you cancel within 14 days and have not exceeded the base storage limits of your tier, a refund will be issued.
If you believe you have been charged incorrectly or charged more than once for the same purchase, please contact us promptly. We will investigate and, if a billing error is confirmed, issue a full refund of the erroneous or duplicate charge regardless of the 14-day window.
Billing error claims should be reported within sixty (60) days of the charge appearing on your statement. Claims reported after this period may not be eligible for investigation.
If a technical failure attributable to Clipperia (not to a third-party provider or your own network) prevents you from using the Service for a significant period, we may, at our sole discretion, offer one of the following remedies:
Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages beyond our control, and brief interruptions typical of cloud services do not qualify as technical failures under this section.
If you make an accidental purchase (for example, selecting the wrong plan or credit pack), you may request a refund within 48 hours of the purchase, provided:
Accidental purchase refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are subject to verification.
As Dodo Payments is the merchant of record for all transactions, any payment disputes or chargebacks are handled through their platform in accordance with their terms.
We strongly encourage you to contact us first before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider. Filing a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue with Clipperia may result in account suspension pending investigation.
If a chargeback is filed and the dispute is resolved in Clipperia's favor, any credits or service access restored during the dispute may be reversed. Repeated chargebacks without prior communication may result in account termination.
In certain circumstances, Clipperia may, at its sole discretion, offer a partial refund rather than a full refund. Partial refunds may be appropriate when:
Partial monetary refunds are prorated based on the original purchase price and the proportion of service consumed.
If you cancel your paid subscription, all unused credits in your account — including both Subscription Credits and Credit Pack Credits — are not eligible for a monetary refund. However, you will not lose your credits immediately. The following grace period applies:
For the avoidance of doubt: The 2-month Grace Period forfeiture supersedes the 12-month Credit Pack expiry described in our Terms of Service. If you cancel your Subscription, all unused credits of every type are forfeited at the end of the Grace Period, even if their original expiry date has not yet passed.
This grace period is designed to give you a reasonable opportunity to use credits you have already paid for. We encourage you to consume your remaining credits before the Grace Period ends.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights where applicable law mandates a refund for unused prepaid balances.
If your account is terminated for violating our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy, no refunds will be issued for any unused credits, remaining subscription time, or credit packs, regardless of when the termination occurs.
To request a refund, contact us at support@clipperia.app with:
We will review your request and respond within five (5) business days. Approved refunds are issued as credits to your account or, where applicable, as a monetary refund through Dodo Payments. Monetary refunds may take five to ten (5–10) business days to appear on your payment statement depending on your financial institution.
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification.
